Wyoming tornado history

From 1950 through 2025, 755 tornadoes touched Wyoming, according to the NOAA Storm Prediction Center, the 28th most of the 48 contiguous states and DC. The National Weather Service rated 1 of them F4/EF4 or stronger; along their paths they killed 4 people and injured 115. The deadliest, on August 12, 2005, was rated F2 and killed 2 (Campbell County). From 2016 to 2025, Wyoming averaged 10 tornadoes a year.
