Refund Policy for the Hail History Report
IndependentNot affiliated with NOAA or the National Weather Service.
Check the free hail lookup before you buy: it shows, for free, whether NOAA radar estimated hail near your address and which storm reports are nearby. Because you can see that first, refunds are for problems with your order, not for a change of mind.
When we refund in full
- You were charged twice for the same address.
- Your report never loaded, or the payment went through and you didn't get a report.
- The address was put in the wrong place. The US Census Bureau geocoder sometimes matches an address to the wrong street or town. If that happened and we can't fix it, you get your money back.
When we don't refund
- The report shows little or no hail. That is a real result, and the free lookup shows it before you pay.
- You changed your mind after the report opened.
How to ask for a refund
Within 30 days of your purchase, reply to your Stripe receipt email or write to support@nationalstorms.com. Tell us the date you bought the report and what went wrong. Please don't send your address by email; the link to your report or your receipt number is enough for us to find the order.
Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe. Your bank usually shows it within 5 to 10 business days. If you want, we also delete your order and report when we refund it.
About the report
The Hail History Report costs $19, paid once, for one address. You can read a sample report for a public landmark before buying. It shows radar-estimated hail and public storm reports near the address. It does not show whether hail hit or damaged a roof. See the disclaimer.
Sources: the report uses only public data from NOAA (MRMS radar hail estimates, Storm Prediction Center storm reports, NCEI Storm Events, National Weather Service damage surveys) and the US Census Bureau geocoder. Methodology & sources
