  “Large hail injured 2 people, and caused damage to vehicles and buildings.”
• Minnehaha County, SD (near Sioux Falls) · Hail 1.75″ · $2 million
  “Large hail severely damaged vehicles and also broke windows and damaged siding in some buildings. The hail was reported at several places around the city, but the damage was greatest in the southeast part of Sioux Falls.One insurance company expected about three thousand claims from vehicle owners.”

  “Large hail caused severe damage to vehicles and also damaged buildings. Crop damage was suspected in the area but no estimates were available.”

  “Thunderstorm downburst winds of 60 to 70 mph caused extensive damage on the west side of Millersburg. Hardest hit was the Holmes County Fairgrounds where a covered grandstand was toppled and destroyed. Four other buildings at the fairgrounds were damaged and a small shed was also destroyed.”

  “Thunderstorm winds caused tree and power line damage. One large tree severely damaged a moving car when it was blown over.”

  “Thunderstorm winds caused severe damage to at least two farms. Barns at both farms were completely destroyed, as were two vehicles in one of the barns. There was also damage to houses, equipment, and trees on the farms.”
