February 2025 storm reports: hail, wind and tornadoes

In February 2025, 44 hail, 591 damaging-wind and 39 tornado reports were logged on 13 storm days across 25 states. The largest hail reported was 1.75″ (golf ball size) in Mercer County, KY on February 5, 2025. The most hail reports came on February 15, 2025 (17). Tornadoes killed 2. Radar estimated hail of 1 inch or larger on 20 days; the widest swath, on February 12, 2025, covered 3,887 square miles.
