October 2019 storm reports: hail, wind and tornadoes

In October 2019, 152 hail, 818 damaging-wind and 66 tornado reports were logged on 22 storm days across 32 states. The largest hail reported was 3.00″ (teacup size) in Tarrant County, TX on October 10, 2019. The most hail reports came on October 20, 2019 (75). Radar estimated hail of 1 inch or larger on 20 days; the widest swath, on October 20, 2019, covered 1,537 square miles.
