The largest hail reported was 2.00″ (hen egg size) in Wise County, TX on February 21, 2022. The most hail reports came on February 21, 2022 (36). Tornadoes killed 1. Radar estimated hail of 1 inch or larger on 19 days; the widest swath, on February 22, 2022, covered 1,171 square miles.
