February 2021 storm reports: hail, wind and tornadoes

In February 2021, 44 hail, 68 damaging-wind and 12 tornado reports were logged on 11 storm days across 16 states. The largest hail reported was 2.00″ (hen egg size) in Red River County, TX on February 25, 2021. The most hail reports came on February 28, 2021 (15). Tornadoes killed 3. Radar estimated hail of 1 inch or larger on 21 days; the widest swath, on February 23, 2021, covered 142 square miles.
