The largest hail reported was 0.88″ (nickel size) in Crosby County, TX on December 29, 2020. The most hail reports came on December 7, 2020 (5). Radar estimated hail of 1 inch or larger on 21 days; the widest swath, on December 21, 2020, covered 270 square miles.
