IndependentNot affiliated with NOAA or the National Weather Service.
Hail history reports for the addresses you already serve, with your company name on top, from $49 a month. Every report shows NOAA radar-estimated hail near the address since October 2019 and storm reports within 5 miles since 1955, with sources a homeowner or adjuster can check. No homeowner data, no lead lists, no annual contract.

What every report includes
- Radar-estimated hail by storm day: the largest NOAA radar (MESH) estimate within 1, 3 and 5 miles of the address on every storm day since October 2019.
- Storm reports within 5 miles since 1955: hail, damaging wind and tornado reports from the NOAA Storm Prediction Center, with size, distance, direction and time.
- Date of loss: the largest and most recent hail days near the address, for a claim or an inspection.
- National Weather Service narratives, tornado survey paths and a map with 1, 3 and 5-mile rings.
- Methodology, sources and disclaimer on every report. Your branding goes in a header band above the report; you can't edit the data, the sources or the disclaimer, which is what makes the report worth handing to an adjuster.
It's the same report homeowners buy for $19 at Hail History Report for Your Address, plus your “Prepared by” band. Wording stays honest: hail is “radar-estimated” and “near this address”, never a claim that hail hit the roof.
Address monitoring
Add the addresses you've already worked or quoted, one at a time or from a CSV. After each new NOAA radar day, we check every one of them and send you one email that day listing those with radar-estimated hail of 1″ or more within 3 miles, each with a link to make a report. Your list is yours alone: it's never pooled with other roofers' lists, never shown to anyone else, and you can delete any address (or all of them) at any time.
Our privacy promise
- We never sell or share homeowner data. No homeowner names, phone numbers, emails or lead lists, in any plan, ever.
- Your lookups stay private to your account. The addresses you report on or monitor are visible only to you. They're never pooled across accounts, shown to another roofer, or used to tell anyone where you work.
- Deleting is real. Delete a report or a monitored address and it's gone from our database, not hidden. Delete your account and everything in it goes.
- We never log the addresses or emails you enter. Stripe handles payment; we never see your card.
Where the data comes from
Only public data: NOAA MRMS radar hail estimates (MESH, via the Iowa Environmental Mesonet), NOAA Storm Prediction Center storm reports, NOAA NCEI Storm Events narratives, NWS Damage Assessment Toolkit tornado surveys and the US Census Bureau geocoder. See Methodology & sources and what radar-estimated hail (MESH) is and isn't. National Storms is independent and not affiliated with NOAA, the National Weather Service or any government agency.
What a report is and isn't
Reports list radar-estimated hail sizes and public storm reports near an address. Radar estimates are for ~1 km grid cells around the location, not measurements at the property, and nothing in a report shows whether hail hit or damaged a roof. They are not engineering, insurance or legal opinions and are not certified. Disclaimer
